Federal Tax Credits

On February 17, President Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Tax Act of 2009. This bill extends and modifies the tax credits for windows, doors, and skylights established in the Energy Policy Act of 2005.

The Stimulus Package now includes a 30% or up to $1,500.00 tax credit for windows "placed in service" 2009 - 2010.
Qualifying window and door products must have both a U-Factor of 0.30 or lower and a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of 0.30 or lower.

Superseal Replacement Window Series 1100 DH, 1600 Casement, 1700 DH, and Series 800 Sliding Patio Doors meet those requirements when ordered with Solarban XL70 Low E with Argon package. For more info go to www.engergystar.gov
